Knowsley Manor Care Home

A couple of little trip hazards with raised manholes /grid covers on the grassed area, but nothing major as these weren't on a fire exit route etc. Very welcoming feel and good feedback from family members on social media and nice to see the residents enjoying their activities with smiling faces. Definitely on my list of potentials.

my partner was there for three and half yrs before she passed away in 2020.i can honestly say that myself and family had nothing but praise for the staff who looked after her up until the day she passed away.its just a pity that the home is faced with closure in the near future,surely there must be a way to keep it open.such a shame that the families of the residents now have to look elsewhere to relocate their loved ones some have been there for a lot longer than my partner.shame on you HC.ONE.

My husband, John, has been a resident of Knowsley Manor for nearly a year and a half and during all that time he has been treated with dignity and kindness by the staff. Until the lockdown I visited him daily and was so pleased with the care and attention he was given. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this nursing home to anyone who requires a loving and professional atmosphere. Dawn Williams

My mother was cared for in her final year at this care home .The residents were all treated with kindness and dignity .With advanced dementia it's difficult to judge if your relative was happy but I didn't witness many signs of upset as it seemed to be a very well run home with an upbeat atmosphere .There is plenty going on in the afternoon for those who can participate in activities .We were kept informed when necessary in-between visits but in the interim had peace of mind .All the staff were genuinely lovely and did their best to look after the residents from what I personally could see from my visits .I'd recommend this home to anyone because of the personal qualities of the staff .Not an easy job ,I'm so glad they have taken care to employ such caring people which is crucial .
