Hi all well what a lovely day we all had at roby house all the residence and families The staff are amazing from those in charge to the care side to the people that help keep the place so clean and spotless to the laundry everybody in there put 100% in today and every other day the residents are very lucky to have such a good staff team not just on their residential but also on the nursing side we as a-family feel very safe and happy for my mum to be there we know she gets looked after very well have no complaints and if we do they are acted upon right away what a lovely place to be in and just a big thank you to the Catering staff which on marvellous spread for all residents and families to enjoy well done everybody

On behalf of my gran Many thanks to all the staff at Roby house, my husband Norman went in May 2020 and stayed until he passed in December. He was well looked after, the staff were wonderful with him and helped him improve so much before he inevitably went down hill. They made him comfortable in palliative care and were really accommodating to me and the family, I cant thank you enough

I visited Roby House for the first time yesterday morning. I was hoping to look around as my mother 92 is at end of life and ready to be discharged from hospital. She is palliative care and feared to be in her last couple of months. A lady receptionist answered the door. She had only been wkg there 3days. She took all my details. She explained the manager and his deputy were not on site but she would request they call me today. I decided to visit again this morning rather than wait for the call. The same lady once again took all of my details. She said she didnt know which end was up. That she had been thrown in at the deep end. She went searching for Patrick the manager . No one new where he was . Eventually, she returned. She apologised. She said again that the manager and his deputy were once again off site and she hadnt been informed. She said she would once again get him to ring me. I appreciate that it is possible that there could be a legitimate reason for the 2 main people to be off site at the same time. However, that really concerned me. There should be someone on site to deal with referrals and reassure relatives that its the right place for their loved ones to come. My mother may not have many months to live. She is my priority. Im already worried. My confidence in the responce from Roby House however was knocked. No call back has been recieved . Moving on......
