Visited for a birthday party at the weekend and everything was excellent! Really nice food and staff were super helpful. Great outdoor space as well. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much to all the team at the Golden Lion last night who hosted our 30th party for 50 people. The food and service were up to their usual excellent standard. Thanks to Ben and the team for putting on a great night!

Absolutely appalling Sausage and mashchef wasnt happy with the mash so had chips instead 15.45 : one sausage, 10ish chips and one tablespoon of peas, no red wine gravy! Did they really expect me to pay 15.45 .. disgraceful after speaking to manager .. wouldnt pay a 1 for what was presented!!!

Food was really disappointing just average with very small portions for the price you have pay. We had our main which took an hour an waited 45mins for a desert menu and ended up just going the bar to pay and left.
