        My son stayed in Verde in Newcastle. The accommodation was ok but my son had to leave early due to ill health. They relet his room and I have been waiting for nearly 2 months to get a partial refund which has still not been received. I would not recommend staying in any Downing student accommodation based on my experience with them.

        Their parking services are a scam. 150 a month for underground parking with no lines painted on the ground, and fines if you're slightly over the imaginary invisible lines. After parking my car and not returning for 2 weeks, I ended up with 1600 in parking fines, zero contact from them.
