(Translated by Google) Last Wednesday I went to dinner for the first time at this restaurant with a friend of mine and then my father came and joined us and if there's one thing this restaurant isn't, it's without a doubt Portuguese and from Porto, this coming from 2 Portuguese. It was the first time that my friend had Portuguese food and as she is British the food was excellent for her and the restaurant itself too. However, unfortunately, my father and I did not have the same opinion as her because the owner of the restaurant was super arrogant and a person without charisma and personality, the food was nothing special (I ate a francesinha and it had nothing to do with the ones from Porto because they were so small and my father opted for codfish brs and it was horrible and the next day he woke up with a stomach ache and it stayed that way for 2/3 days), the custard tarts that we ordered for dessert (I thought it was strange because in Portugal no one eats pastel de nata for dessert) they were frozen or they were bought already made and they had told us they were homemade, it is necessary to pre-order some main dishes which I thought was HUGE STUPIDITY and on top of that completely high and absurd prices for the terrible experience we had. The restaurant was empty and has been for sale for over 2 years, that is, they must not be doing business but it's normal because I'm sure we're not the only ones who hated coming here. The only positives were the sangria which was very good and the lady Mary who served us very politely and was very friendly. For the rest we give it a 1/5 and we're sure we won't be back here and it's a shame because there aren't any Portuguese restaurants in Liverpool and it's always nice to find a restaurant from our country abroad. It's much easier for us to eat and make our Portuguese food at home than to take it with this type of hat that cost us more than 100!
