Stephens Pharmacy

My immobile nan has been trying to call the pharmacy for over a month - either no answer or it gets picked up and hung up on instantly. When Ive been in most staff are rude and make you feel awkward, no customer service. I turned up for my booked flu jab a few months ago to be told the pharmacist wasnt coming in without letting me know (I had took time off work for this). Prescriptions are always wrong or items missing and dont find out until you get home and look in the bag.

DON'T USE THIS PHARMACY!!! If I could give it a minus, I would. It takes them 6 whole days to hand over any prescriptions. But only if you quit your job and become a performing monkey for them. I actually lost work and had my health put at risk because they withhold my medication.

Always had excellent service till Stephen retired. He took the time to give reassurance and advice if needed. Stephen and his staff were so pleasant and helpful. Customers are now treated as an inconvenience: late or missing prescriptions, phone switched off or unanswered, rude staff.... When I complained, I was advised to change to a chemist in Speke, who would be grateful for my business! I can barely manage the walk to Stephen's, but thankyou for the suggestion.

Since Stephen left, this pharmacy is now a joke. Missing items, constantly waiting for stock, no communication, disgusting attitude and zero customer care apart from Sarah who is amazing. I strongly advise others to change to another pharmacy in the area or move to an online service like I did.

I and my family have used this pharmacy for over 40 years. I've always been very happy with the service but since Mr Stephens left it has become appalling. On the last 5 occasions I have been to collect prescriptions I have waited up to 30 minutes with no explanation or apology. On 3 occasions items were missing. I always go at quiet times during the day so that was not the issue. I've reluctantly decided to change pharmacies. I believe in supporting local businesses but it needs to be a 2 way street. Rather than improving their service they've now shortened their opening hours, not opening at all at weekends.
