        Female staff were pleasant but the male optometrist lacked a reassuring manner. I have floaters in my right eye and had to pay 25.00 for a test despite the fact that I'm due a free test in July on account of Glaucoma in the family.

        If you want to waste hours here with mediocre service then go for it but do not recommend. Also only 1/10 staff are actually trained the rest just walking round like NPCs. Staff just as blind as me.

        I went over today to inquire about the type of lenses, since I was being given two contradicting information from different branches of Boots, I was slightly confused. The lady that was serving me was very nice, however the supervisor/manager that she asked for help was super condescending. It's been a long time since I was spoken to like a child as a grown up woman. Please do not 'listen honey' me or in fact, anyone ever again. Do not know what I did to upset her this much, but it's not a way to speak to anyone and this is coming from someone who never writes bad reviews.

        Poor service and untrained staff, they dont advice appropriately, bifocal not appropriate for some one 80 years old with frailty and dementia . I mean even they fixed it up its still a risk to someone wear bifocal as they still got dementia and may not know how to wear it right way all the time. If I knew it I would have gone for very focal instead of bifocal .
