I wear gas permeable varifocal contact lenses which are quite complex. Recently it has been difficult finding an optician that was experienced enough to get them right. I was giving up hope of wearing contacts when someone recommended Mr Wilks. He was brilliant and in no time I had a new pair of lenses that are great. The staff are nice and helpful. This is a lovely practice I would highly recommend it to anyone.

A perfect example of how a business should be run. Absolutely lovely and amazing from the first moment I rang them, the ladies couldn't do enough to help especially when my husband needed urgent eye care, we cannot thank them and Mr Wilkes himself, who is an absolute mine of knowledge and expertise. I have never had such a thorough eye test in my life. Both mine and my husbands glasses were ready within a week and are perfect. If you need an exceptionally good opticians then this is the one for you, they are simply the best and we cannot thank them enough for all the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable advice and care they gave to us. Absolutely faultless. We will never go anywhere else in future now we have found this hidden gem, you simply cannot go wrong here. If I could give them 100 stars I most definitely would. Thank you to everyone there so very much.
