ASDA Opticians

After having an eye test at Specsavers & after getting a new prescription I was constantly dizzy & ill. Had a repeat eye test at Asda Aintree opticians & was told my prescription hadnt changed. All of the staff were lovely & helpful. The optician explained everything & listened to me. I will never go back to Specsavers.

I have a stigmatism and need varifocals. Staff Helpful and glasses are spot on first time. Paid 199, I have two pairs of glasses with ant reflect and one with reactive lenses. Choice of frames is limited but I found two I liked so I was happy. Some people say the frames are plasticky. Last time I paid 450 for one pair (left) and you can't see the difference between them (Asda on right).

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER from DEBBIE! Who obviously hates her job and working with the public as she made that very clear ! I called in to Asda on the way home from work to get some prices and info on a contact lenses check. I had to interrupt Debbie gossiping with a friend to try and get some of the info I required, Only to be looked up and down like a piece of dirt on her shoe and to be given zero help or info! As she told me to wait a minute I had decided by that point I would rather stick pins in my own eyes than waste any more time at this opticians! Think some customer service training for Debbie wouldnt go a miss! Im hoping that the rest of the staff make up for the unprofessional! Before you lose any more custom!!! Would never return here!

I had an accident with my glasses and bent the frame badly, late in the afternoon on a bank holiday. Managed to get in to Asda Aintree opticians just before it closed and an absolutely lovely woman fixed them for me, with some considerable effort, as they were quite bent. I regret not catching her name, as she really did save the day and she is a credit to the opticians! Amazing service, thank you.
