BEWARE! Please don't put a member of your family into this care home! (I say care extremely loosely). Takes staff 24 hours to call a ambulance after having a fall and didn't even bother to contact relatives! Food - you have two choices-take it or or leave it (regardless of dietary requirements. Nobody ever answers the phone. Personal care is shocking and non existant (hair hasn't been combed for weeks (excuse they've lost his comb). The carer got my dad ready for a day out, with hair worse than Ken Dodds, unshaven, no shoes, bleach all over his trousers. Never seen him wear any new clothes we have bought and not even to be found in his room? All the staff ever say is they must be in the wash. If you report issues to the manager once he's run out of excuses, he just says looks like nothing I say will make you happy? They sent my dad out one day in a wheelchair that stunk to high heaven of somebody else's urine. Another time I visited and my dad had a accident and despite me telling both the care staff and the nurse they just left him sitting in wet for the three hours I was there! Also seems to be a high intake of different staff that don't stay long. My dad stays in his room. We visited once and took him in the garden. He'd never been in the garden before despite being there for a few months. Never had a member of staff offered to take him out there! Avoid this home at all costs!!!!

Only place l know that has a bad staff from young if your over a certain age for God sake watch your back from the younger staff and the company paid nurses
