My Father arrived only two days ago and the staff have been so helpful. Taking time and putting in the extra effort for us to bring in clothes, his television and a new mobile phone. All this during the Covid-19 problems. Moving his bed so we can speak through the open window. All in all very efficient and caring. Well done.

My grandma Kathleen Bates was in this care home and all the staff made her feel really comfortable in bed and they kept checking up on her to make sure she was ok and they always kept use updated on my grandma condition and they made my family feel really welcome by asking us would we like a drunk or something to eat and they always Brought us a tray of coffee and tea and some biscuits and they would always lets us stay till late because of my grandma condition had started to deteriorate quickly and the staff would always come into my grandma bedroom to tell us about my grandma condition and the staff would always sit by my grandma bedside at night and they would always put on smooth radio for my grandma to listen to on the 8th of February my grandma really deteriorated so badly and the staff phoned us up to say we needed to come down to the care home and the staff stayed with my grandma till me and my grandad got to the care home and she sadly passed away peacefully at 7:00 pm and the staff supported use after my grandma passed away peacefully and they took use into a room and They explained what will happen next with my grandma and a doctor will come out and then banks funeral Directors will come out and the staff phone us up to say my grandma had arrived at the funeral home safely thank you to all the staff for all your help and support with my grandma and making my family feel apart of the ShawCross Care Home family and I have told people about this loving and helpful and caring and I have told everyone about the wonderful staff who are always there to answer any questions you want to ask and the staff always say they will be 2 minutes and they are always there in 2 minutes and on time to check on the resident
