treat their staff absolutely awful, work them like dogs one minute then give them no hours! sort your company out! this company is meant to help people but how are the staff meant to care for people when they dont get cared for themselves!

Please listen to reviews and use somewhere else, didnt even get two weeks care for my Dad they left front door unlocked or wide open the key fob number left for anyone to walk in his house. I cared every day for him the staff only had to go and check on him of a night Id done everything so nothing for them to do. Just to make sure he was ok thats it they could go in and be out straight away but couldnt manage to keep him safe all this got reported to the company and adult safeguarding but nothing happened to the staff even if they did it more than once. This place doesnt care about peoples lives theres places out there that will help you care for your family and keep them safe.

I have worked for Yes Care Services for 4 years now. I started of as a carer and due to my loyalty commitment and hard work within 16 months I became field care supervisor. Was only 6 months later again due to hard work and commitment I was promoted to a Co-ordinator. Now I have managed to make my way up to Branch Manager for St Helens and Knowsley. I absolutely love my job at Yes Care. I have worked for many companies and I have never been as happy as I am now.

Where do I begin !! Absolutely abysmal, so so bad it beggars belief. More of a hindrance than a help. The majority of employees seem extremely under prepared under qualified and un interested in there job, the level of care is minimal the knowledge they seem to have regarding there job is minimal and there willingness and motivation to carry out the tasks within the job description is poor No continuity, as a client you want carers to turn up who are familiar so a relationship has been built up and they are aware of and understand my fathers needs !! This was not the case, in the four weeks we received the care virtually every time it was two new girls that we had never seen before !! This isnt good enough. Then there is the time keeping ! For my dads needs the morning call was the most important, where the girls could tend to his personal needs, but unfortunately the girls rarely turned up before 1/4 to eleven (with poor excuses for not getting there on time) and by that time I myself had got my dad up tended to him and fed him, so it was a waste of time them even showing up. One thing I do want to share is the lack of respect and laziness shown by one employee of YES care. Within one week of the service being provided for me and my dad, there was a particular morning where my dad had had me up all night so I was shattered I was still in bed when I heard the front door opening (it was the carers) they came in to do there caring but only stayed for 6 minutes before leaving !!! I flew down the stairs and just before they drove off I confronted them asking them why they have only provided 6 minutes care ?!? The girls response was your dad didnt want anything so we left !! This is a lame and lazy excuse there was plenty of things my dad needed that would of filled there supposedly 30 minute visit up !! THIS WASN'T THE END IT GETS WORSE, Approx 30 mins after they had left I ventured into the kitchen to start cleaning it when I noticed lying in the kitchen sink was the small white clip that is found at the end of the night bag tube !! Its blatantly obvious what had happened, the carer was so lazy and disrespectful that she had emptied my dads night bag filled with urine down our kitchen sink !! UNBELIEVABLE !!! Other instances are stuffing rubbish in the washing powder box located in the kitchen instead of in the bin !! Not a single staff member has ever closed the vestibule door behind them when leaving the house, every time they make my dad a cup of tea they fill the kettle to the top with water (for one cup of tea) a complete waste of electricity ! To sum up (because this post is long enough already) a lot of the staff (not all) blatantly have no common sense no interest in the job (as soon as they walk through the door they give you the feeling they dont want to be there) very little knowledge of whats required to fulfil the job roll and simply just dont care. The care was that bad that Ive now cancelled as Im better off without them. The core problem lies with management and there recruiting process also proper training should be provided as its blatantly lacking. The company is called YES care !! A more appropriate name would be NO CARE.
