Alexandra Walton Flute & Saxophone Tuition

Alexandra has been teaching my 8 year old daughter for just over 12 months. My daughter really enjoys her lessons and Alexandra maintains a great pace of learning and ensures my daughter enjoys it. Alexandra provides feedback to me after each lesson eg tips for practise at home. I would highly recommend Alexandra's lessons to someone who would like to learn flute.

I began having flute lessons with Alexandra in May 2022 after having none for nearly 30 years since school. By November 2022 I had booked my grade 3 examination and passed with a distinction. This would not have been possible without Alexandra's tutoring. She has given me so many tips and pointers for playing and also explains the music theory so that I understand so much more about what I'm playing. I'm so motivated to practise and progress and I learn something every week. Alexandra's feedback is very supportive and I thoroughly enjoy my lessons.

Ive had saxaphone lessons with Alexandra for a year, she has always been incredible helpful both inside and outside of lessons and has answered all my questions relating to the saxaphone and music theory as a whole. She has always been very welcoming since the start and helped me to progress and reach my goals. I couldnt recommend her any more.

Can I first of all say how much I am enjoying my Saxophone lessons with Alexandra. She has such a pleasant personality, but also strong enough to let me know when I get things not quite right. Alexandra is able to explain different techniques to me in layman terms as I am definitely not from a music background. If I can't quite get the desired result the first time around, Alexandra is constantly looking for the reasons why, and very patient in explaining how to achieve our goal. I've been going to Alexandra for a few months now, and I am so happy with my progression on playing the saxophone and it is all down to how much fun being taught by Alexandra is. Thank you.

Alexandra is professional, reliable and really keen to bring her students on. My son hasnt been under her tutelage for long, but so far we have been very impressed.
