Absolute shambles of a company. Firstly, plastering was awful and still is but we became too tired of trying to get it sorted that we asked them to leave. Can still see all the joints in the plasterboard. Secondly, the garden. Apparently gifted turf as would have cost a lot. Honestly would have rather the value off the property as we moved in, August 2021 and were still fighting even now to get it sorted properly. Each time the gardeners are instructed to sort it, were back to square one with waiting months. When we wanted it sorting, both Rebecca and Sophie from customer care pinned the blame on us for delays despite us having written proof by email correspondence that it was their (both bellway and Rebecca and Sophies) refusal to continue works which led to the issue in the first place. Pinning the blame on anyone but themselves despite the fact that at least 20 houses (likely more) have had to have their gardens re-turfed. Add in the multiple leaks in multiple houses (as confirmed by the group WhatsApps we have) boiler issues for being installed incorrectly including one house where the gas was turned off due to a leak around Christmas, issues with blockages in the house main to street main pipes and likely many more issues, its quite clear bellway have used this site as a cash cow to fund other projects around the country in more affluent areas. Have no clue how the company has amounted a reputation like they have considering the issues multiple people have faced on this site alone. Can only assume people are too polite and or fed up to actual leave reviews of the company itself. Add in the fact that when we referred our friends, the sales office failed to include referral paperwork meaning theyre now also refusing to send out the 250 referral cheque. At this rate, there isnt enough money in the world to pay me to buy one of bellways homes anywhere ever again let alone to refer anyone. Get your house in order.
