Great location literally 10 min walk to centre of Liverpool. The hostel downstairs is fantastic, very clean, modern, and has facilities to get coffee and snacks . It's such a shame that the room upstairs didn't match the same details of care . We stayed in a room with four bunk beds , one of the bottom bunk beds was literally on the floor where the bottom of the bed had given way at some point in its life there. The curtains on the bunk bed were damaged. The pole fell off when I went to close the curtain. Only one light worked out of the four lights in the beds. The room is literally designed to sleep no room to move at all . The toilet lock didn't work , the main lock on the door to the room didn't lock either. All in all, an experience! I would say this is not what we expected ! The bedding was clean, and the staff were friendly and gave us towels and loo roll as none were in the room when we arrived. The bedding was clean . They have a drop-off secure point for bags. I think if you are in your 20s and travelling around on a small budget, it's a great place . Quite honestly, it's in desperate need of a makeover upstairs to match the downstairs.
