Glad to find anywhere as it was racing at Aintree so very busy...room was small but it was cosy and really glad that the heater was working well...when my husband figured it out.... the toilet was small but functional...there is a bar upstairs and this was actually well stocked and good to have tables and chairs looking out onto the road...the guy on reception was lovely.. he was new...sorry don't know his name ...but he was helpful and had lots of local knowledge...he called a cab for us on an app and it came in a couple of minutes. It is important to manage expectations ...this is budget accommodation in the centre of Liverpool and not a silent order..the pods are close together and people can watch Netflix on their TVs all night and there may be additional noise.. maybe just bring ear plugs.. We paid over 51 for one night but that was the day before Ladies Day at Aintree so that was why.. I looked for the following week and it was only 27.....however for the weekend when it is Eurovision it is over 200 a night.. Update - they do take a 20 deposit when you check but it I did get that refunded a couple of days later...
