I think, this 'lot' are a waste of space!! I 'm 56, and I've had to deal/liaise with MANY 'dysfunctional' Government Departments before, but, this 'lot' really take the biscuit!! I, finally, received my Grant of Probate about SIX months after this Office received my application on 15th June!! Now, the Buyers of my property can NO longer afford the 'amount' of the agreed sale price of the above property, due to interest rates which are now 'higher' than what they were SIX months ago!! I, reluctantly, have had to accept a 'lower' price for my property, because of fears of NOT being offered a 'similar' price for my property in the future, considering the economic 'downturn'!! Perhaps, in reality, it's NOT this departments fault, it, probably, is really down to the Government NOT giving Public Services like this one the 'resources' to function 'effectively'!!

Disgusting service. Ordered copy of will online in June, still waiting, also told there were IT issues but then someone else two weeks later said there were not. Pushed from pillar to post. Given an email address, email not even replied to. Why is everything to do with this Government so difficult!!! Even the phone number shown on line is incorrect

I have tried to contact the office for weeks to confirm my application has been received as it has been several months since application. I resorted to an email which the auto reply informed me it would be addressed within 10 working days. It is a month later my only option is to visit their office in Liverpool. Very poor service especially when people are mourning the loss of a loved one.
