If I could give 0 stars I would. We were booked in for laminate herringbone to be fitted (DJW were recomended to us), communication was a bit slow, had to text a few times over the course of a couple of days to get a response but I just put that down to him being busy and not looking at his phone throughout the day. First of all when he came to measure up he said we would need 9 boxes of laminate - this isnt nearly accurate - weve had to purchase another 7 boxes on top of this! My friends that recommend him also said he got their measurements wrong... so this sounds like its a common thing with him! Anyway, at about 9am of the morning he was due to come out and fit I hadnt heard anything... so I text and asked when he would be arriving. He replied 45 minutes later saying he had a bad back and couldnt make it. Nothing about rescheduling or anything like that. I had taken a holiday from work so was obviously annoyed at this! I tried to rearrange and was ignored. My partner text him off his phone and he was ignored too. I wouldnt have this man in my house now if you paid me. I have seen a few reviews on Yell saying that he has cancelled with a bad back. I never normally leave reviews however Im so shocked at how poor the service is we received. Thank god we didnt hand any money over!

I was let down by 2 other fitters in 2 days !!! I was desperate to get my carpet fitted as I'd already taken up the old carpet, ready for the new on the advice of the other fitter. I found DJW flooring (Dave) and his mate through Google and I'm so glad I did. Dave understood the situation I was in and went out of his way to help. Within a day he managed to squeeze me and fit my stairs and landing. Nice guys, reasonable rates, quality fit. Dave clearly knows his trade and I'd recommend them to anyone.
