After 50 mins while the restaurant was quiet, the meals arrived. On every meal the chips were old, cold and previously sold. I ordered mash but got chips. " I'll bring the mash straight away," said the waiter. I left 30 minutes later, with no sign of the promised mash. The steak pie was void of flavour and the gravy was the right colour...full stop. The peas were green, but that was the only thing in common with peas as we know them. We were all so hungry that we ate our gruel and so we asked for no refund, because that would have offered the restaurant an excuse and a way out. No, the meals were sub-standard and only edible to a very hungry person. Poor! Before ordering a meal here, ask the waiter, "If the meal isn't hot and tasty, can we expect a refund?"
