Many thanks Guys. The Bookyard is a great company and I am very glad to have found it (by a search for Mac repairs and help, on Google). The team is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and with the skills, parts and equipment to help solve problems. They are also fun to deal with and it has been a pleasure working with them. I've benn looking for quite some time for replacement parts for my old MAC and finally found The BookYard. They had what I needed at a good price (what a pity that when ordering from outside the UK, customs expenses took a good part of the savings). There was a small problem with the order and the communication was smooth, fast and professional. They sent me the part again free of charge. I highly recommend this company.

AVOID. I was unsure about this site at first, but decided to try it as the prices offered were good. I placed my order on February 8th and paid for next day shipping. I received no order confirmation via email or any indication that Id actually purchased anything, but my card was charged. By February 12th I still hadnt heard anything, so I reached out and received no response. Following this, and a week after my order, I again reached out and threatened to initiate a chargeback on my card. At this point I heard back from the team who assured me theyd get to the bottom of my issue. They told me on multiple occasions theyd be in touch the next working day, and failed to do so multiple times, with me having to repeatedly chase them for updates before I gave up and asked for a refund which Im now waiting for, but wont be surprised if I dont see come through. At best this is a complete mess of a company and at worst its an outright scam website. I would strongly advise going elsewhere and saving yourself the hassle.

My return refund amount was absorbed by the return postage despite being 15 less than what I paid, an extortionate amount for postage, and an odd business practice anyway.
