Dress for sons wedding. Hem to be shortened and alterations to back of dress. Picked up and the hem is not straight, stitches are wonky, bunched up in places and a little tear in material. The owner said was hard to alter hem as cut on the bias - however that doesnt excuse a bad job. She has offered another seamstress to repair, but I dont trust that it will be done properly. Now need to find another seamstress that will sort out bad workmanship. Very stressful with only 8 weeks to the wedding. No offer of refund either - so taking advice from Trading Standards.
