Try getting through to them at any time of the day to make an appointment or with an enquiry and you can expet a 40 minute wait on hold. Really really poor practice

Elderly woman attacked. Spent three weeks in hospital with severe head injury. Hearing and memory affected. Face and neck badly buised. Had several scans. She is feeling very vulnerable and is still unsteady, therefore has a reduced mobility. She needs a repeat prescription for current medication and wants to know if there is a follow up hospital appointment. Social Services es Victim Support and Merseyside CID involved. However, she Can't have a repeat prescription as she has to do it online (no computer) or phone in person (no hearing). She is, at present reluctant to go out of the house - but can't have a domicillary visit. The receptionist was inflexible and kept repeating (as though I was a cretin), that the 'patient' - never om e using her name, would have to come to the surgery and tell them what medication she was on!!!! A terribly disappointing and offensive way to treat a person who paid into the system all her working life. Shame.
