I joined this Doctors 20 years ago, I was so impressed that all my family also joined at the same time. It was great so easy to book an appointment in Advance or even on the day. Telephone lines good. Doctors, and receptionist so professional and cared for patients, that was then. This is now The last 3 times I have phoned doctors 138 times 85 times 89 times before they answered. At 8.33 no appointment available or telephone consultation. Told to go the walk-in centre or call 111. Even extended appointments in various surgery which also had no appointments. To be fair receptionist some, are so apologetic I do feel for them. If I had an option to pay my national insurance to a private healthcare then I would. Is this practice got to many patients for the demand or is the not enough doctors. I do not know but it needs sorting out. Surely at 8.33 all the appointments gone. Id love to know how many doctors are on shift of a morning. So disappointed with this GP service since covid. Every other industry is back to normal why are Doctors not back to normal.

I have just had the most horrendous time at the surgery trying to get an appointment for a doctor who is only available on a Monday. I called several times but have found the reception staff Irene in particular will not try to accommodate me, Irene left the new girl to speak to me , and stayed in back listening, I was told I must queue outside surgery Monday morning, However Moss lane receptionist informed me previously to go to my surgery in Oriel Drive and pre book the appointment for this particular doctor! I feel very stressed and anxious at present.

I can only echo the poor reviews here. There is no continuity of care. My Aunt suffered a minor stroke a few weeks ago. If the GP had shown any interest at all in her ECG results that had been obtained a few weeks prior to the stroke a proper diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (the cause of the stroke) could have been obtained, blood thinning medication dispensed and the stroke avoided. The fact that there is no response from the surgery to any of these negative reviews speaks volumes.

Writing on behalf of my friend. Can never get an appointment- ringing at 8 is impossible, my friend is too unwell to stand in a large queue outside at 8 am, and the online appointment service facility is never working. The practice is run on locums, who promise to ring her back with blood rest results etc although never do. The majority of reception staff are rude and insensitive. Talking about how it would be their worst nightmare to have thin hair, just after my friend has booked in with severe hair loss due to cancer treatment. They also ignore the phones that are ringing. The partner of this practice (cant remember her name) honestly comes across like she is three sheets to the wind. Works at a pace that would make a snail look fast. No wonder Dr Wigglesworth left- the only caring, decent, thorough doctor there. Dont bother complaining to the practice manager- my friend had a lengthy phone call with her and was promised a call back. When the call back never happened, she rang to chase it up and the practice manager couldnt even recall speaking to her! Theres stressed nhs staff, then theres sheer negligence and incompetence. This place is the latter.

This surgery use to be brilliant and I cannot now stress enough how inadequate for purpose it is. The online consultation is never available, whenever you try an ring the phone line does not even ring out. 46 times I tried on the space of a few hours and not once did that phone ring it was just a constant busy dialing town. Some receptionist in there could not giving a flying toss, and the attitude at times is a disgrace. I understand the pressures that are around healthcare, but operating the way they do is so dangerous. Continuing to take on patients and yet they can't even provide anything to the patients they do have. I just do know how its operating at all anymore because it seems that they severely lack providing anything to do with healthcare.
