Dr McDonagh who works at this practice failed to refer me for an urgent referral for 2 months for a serious problems which resulted in me ending up in A&E. Members of the reception team on several occasions suggested I booked in with another dr who might be more prompt at referring me when I chased this referral on twelve separate occasions. Each time I was told the task was on the doctors system but she had failed to action it yet. At one point I even received a phone call asking if I could remind THEM what the referral was for. Never would I expect for anyone to receive such negligent care from our health service.

I am struggling to even give this surgery 1 star ! I am a new patient here and have waited 10 days upto now for my repeat prescription ( may I add I still have not recieved it) I requested the pharmacy at the bottom of the road to surgery and they sent it to one in Prescot I live in Waterloo yes mistakes happen so they requested another one from GP which the local chemist informed me it was with a online pharmacy? ?? So now 10 days later I'm still chasing my medication when I got upset on telephone I was told she had patient calls to answer to book appointments. Am I not a patient her patient care is poor . Called me back within the hour said to go to Prescot to collect it ?? Not sure what part she never understood I can not get there . This surgery really needs training and put patients care first. Just rang them again to be informed that my request has been rejected this time the receptionist was more understanding and caring and said she would try and sort it out . I won't hold my breathe . I've not even stepped inside the surgery yet and don't think I will be either I will be putting a compliant into the manager
