Orrell Park Medical Centre

Been with this surgery a couple of weeks, just had to speak to them for the first time and the unprofessional receptionist was horrendous. What is it with gp receptionists that think they are better than someone who answers the phone and books people in. Horrible witch of a woman.

Went on their website, I was well within their catchment area, went through the trouble of completing their online registration form, only to be told Im outside their area. When I called and asked why I was outside the area when Im only .8 miles away and within their area online, they told me thats just what weve been told. They then suggested I try Aintree, which is actually farther away. When I pointed this out they said if thats what you say. What a joke.

My one criticism is trying to make appointment ,you phone in at 8am as instructed to no avail, however you can call in at 8am and get an appointment that day. I would suggest you have one system that works not two systems that are hit and miss,however the receptionist are excellent.

Ridiculous rang up to get my pill had to wait 48hrs to be told that it had been rejected and had to wait a further 48hrs? And the nearest appointment is 25th Jan disgusting
