Me and my fianc are staying at alder hey childrens hospital while our baby has heart surgery and have been eating out a lot. Last night we went to a chippy not far from here and had a really awkward experience waiting for food, made to feel really uncomfortable. However, yesterday and tonight our experience at shake waffle roll was completely different. We have had an emotional few days and going here tonight the gentleman who served us cheers us both right up. We love meeting such positive people. We went in for food tonight and the fellow couldn't have been nicer, he couldn't do enough for us. I'm a chef and also done front of house work before so I understand how staff can change your whole experience eating out. As we waited for our food we had a lovely chat with this gentleman and when we left my Mrs told me how the experience made her whole night. Not only that but the food was fast and we both enjoyed our meals. We will definitely go back there especially when our baby gets out. Thanks for a lovely positive experience all the best guys

Great food and great service

Welcomed into the shop by what can only be described as the rudest man alive who after 1 minute of browsing the menu said are you going to order or what and huffed at me. When I ordered the food told me he didnt have what I wanted yet then went on to make what I ordered therefore lying to me as he obviously could not be bothered. Received my food, burger bun was soggy, beef not cooked properly, halloumi fries over cooked. Both food and service were disappointing and will not be returning. (From my partner)
