Your store assistant Kris spotted me struggling with the instore product selector and offered me help for which I was most grateful. He went on to find my goods and complete the transaction. Really 1st. class service and with a polite, respectful and friendly approach. Thank you Kris. An asset to Argos.

27dec2022 offical website state opening hours 0900-2000, reserve an item that is available only at prescot argos, drive all the way to there and arrive at 1915 argos counter is closed, i am fuming!!!!!!!! total waste of time and fuel

Managed to speak to someone after trying for 40 minutes, then the guy on the phone said hes to busy to help and that I should come to the store and look for myself

Purchased a tv online on 18th March 2023. Picked it up from the shop and brought it home. The goods were carefully unpacked. The aerial plug inserted and the item was powered up. The tv did not work. It was returned to the store the following day with a view to exchange. The exchange was refused on the basis of an unqualified staff member on the grounds that there was a cracked screen. There was no physical or observable damage to the screen agreed by us with the staff as not present. We were accused of damaging the screen by applying pressure. Not so. We were told the product goes into a box in th knowledge that it works and could not have occurred in transit because the box was not damaged. It was therefore our fault. We were then subjected to arrogant vituperative comment from staff on asking for a replacement. Security were informed in store. We were then subjected to threats of the police being called by an incompetent security operative. Never at any time were threats of violence made. Abusive language was never used. We left the store of our own volition. We made a call to a lady at Argos customer services called Linda, this angel came to our rescue. The tv was returned by collection and a full refund was given. I will never recommend Argos ever again. That staff in that store and the security are a complete disgrace
