    **BEWARE OF CONNELLS ESTATE AGENTS !! AFTER OUR EXPERIENCE WE ADVISE > USE ANY OTHER AGENT.. BUT STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE!!** As local Landlord for over 20 years we mistakenly allowed Connells to find us a tenant but not manage one of the properties. As per Lawful Requirements , Landlords need to register their Tenants Deposits with a Government scheme within a limited amount of time so we paid for a Deposit Certificate for our Tenant although we have not actually received any deposit or the Rent the Tenant Paid in advance to CONNELLS before moving in. . Now weeks later **OUR TENANTS DEPOSIT AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE TENANTS RENT PAID IN ADVANCE TO CONNELLS HAS STILL NOT BEEN HANDED OVER!!!! AND IS BEING UNLAWFULLY WITHHELD BY CONNELLS WITH A VARIETY OF BIZARE REASONS THAT JUST KEEP MULTIPLYING!!!** . During the few initial phone calls asking what happened to the deposit AND OUR RENT the ~ explanation ~ was our procedures take time. Days later.. turned into weeks and after dozens more phone calls to their Southbourne branch and emails to their Head Office in Merseyside Liverpool the latest ~ explanation ~ from Merseyside Liverpool was we do not have your money it is actually held by the branch so speak to Southbourne.. on speaking the Southbourne branch (surprise Surprise!) they say we dont have your money either it is with our accounts department!!! (where ever they may be?) As more time passed being given the run around for who has our money.. We even contacted thee Governments My Deposits Legal Team on businessdevelopment@mydeposits which told CONNELLS they see No Legal Reason for the refusal to transfer funds to the Landlord . Many more days and phone calls later..! And their NEXT ~ explanation ~ for the Refusal to hand over the DEPOSIT and RENT changed into this Incredible Excuse received in an Email which we have Never come across in twenty years (QUOTE!!) Connells require the the accounts summary and payment summary for our business before handing over the rent tenants paid!!!!!! WOW What possible relevance does our personal Business Accounts have to do with withholding transfers of monies owing??? Or what right do these people have to demand this..? . Now.. after INCURRING UNNECESSARY FINANCIAL BANKING EXPENDITURE AS A DIRECT RESULT OF CONNELLS and after the Tenants have been living at the property for weeks CONNELLS latest NEW excuse is they didnt have our bank details in the first place!!!! INFORMATION WHICH WAS EMAILED TO THEM WEEKS AGO!! . Nowadays.. we are just being told by CONNELLS the monies will be transferred into our Bank Account TOMORROW. . But with CONNELLS !!! tomorrow never comes and the monies transfer NEVER ACTUALLY MATERIALISES !! . NEXT STEP WE WOULDVE LIKED TO AVOID , LOOKS LIKE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS WE SOOOO WISH WE HAD TAKEN NOTICE OF THE **TRUSTPILOT REVIEWS OF HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS RATING CONNELLS AS ONE STAR!!!!!** PLEASE DO TAKE HEED AND AVOID THESE PEOPLE SO THE SAME DOSENT HAPPEN TO YOU.

    Extremely terrible property management customer service! We have a leaking toilet since Wednesday. I had complained and requested that atleast someone come in to just disconnect the main water for the toilet so we can stop wasting water until a permanent solution (as we are aware that they are slow) is made we are okay to use the other toilet. Stephanie listened and that's about it. I have called multiple times I was told a contractor will contact me on Thursday but no one called to date. I called multiple times on Friday to ask when the contractor will call but all I was told was that Stephanie isn't on her desk and she will call me back. And ofcourse that never happened! There is no service over the weekend and there was zero follow up or apology before going for the weekend break. They just ignored us! Hopefully they will pay the bill for extra water that is being wasted. Disappointed!
