As a homeowner of one of Prospect's homes, I was looking to sell the property. The sales process was drawn out and at risk of missing the buyer's mortgage offer date. I contacted Prospect and they could not have been more helpful. Focussed the team. Ensured all info was given and directed solicitors where needed. I was really impressed with the management team.

Nice Composite doors I can fit my hand in between mine and the frame when its closed. Oh wait, it doesnt lock closed as the door is faulty - but although reported over almost 2 years ago its not covered as our defect ended 7 months ago.

Cold rooms, mouldy under the bath, snag list not complete 11 months after moving in, gaps in windows, draught through extractor fans, faulty lino, scratched showers, broken bath... No pre snagging done before I moved in. Terrible quality of houses

They agreed to part exchange my property. I signed a contract stating that I would provide a gas safety certificate and an electrical certificate. 2 weeks before completion they pulled out after I refused to pay for another 5 or 6 different certificates!!! There solicitors said they required a damp check certificate as their surveyor had mentioned damp.. The lady in the sales office dropped them right in it and said she had read the report and there was no mention of damp!! I was advised to remove a carpet in my current home because it had been put down around some heavy wardrobes.. I did.. I paid the 700 for certificates requested.. I used the very dodgy solicitors they recommended.. PLS for any one interested and await their final bill and packed my home into boxes.. Never ever again.. Never would I recommend this company again..

Take with a pinch of salt everything that's said by the sales team. We got about 50% of our snagging list done and gave up with the rest. We pay towards the upkeep of the communal areas which were supposed to have been set up as part of the planning permission. The largest area was supposed to be a wildflower meadow. Nearly 2 years after Prospect left the site it's just a waste ground of builder's rubble and weeds, with Prospect not interested. November 2020 It is now 3 months since my original review and, despite the response from Prospect showing interest in sorting out the situation, nothing has been achieved. We've exchanged emails and they've made a few promises but the net result is nothing. Apparently the company they contacted didn't want to do the work and so Prospect appear to have given up. It is now over 2 years since Prospect left the site. The attached photos show an area at the side of a footpath, with a dangerous drop, together with the area that is supposed to be a wildflower meadow. On a minor point. They also promised, at planning, bat and bird boxes, which have not materialised. Also, the Prospect Homes signs, which they attached to lamp posts around the town, are still there.
