I forgot my wallet, felt embarrassed about leaving the stuff there, so I asked if they wanted me to return them to the shelves. Another worker (manager?) misheard me and thought I was asking to take the stuff and pay later (yeah right, a major corporation would let you do that). She came running as if the other worker was a mute and said "we can't let you take stuff without paying, end of story!". Like even if I asked this question (which I didn't), what kind of backward and rude way to talk to a customer that was? Not that I need to prove anything, but I have Nectar account to show how much I shop from Sainsbury's, which is another reason why this annoyed me so much.

Smells like Dennis Nilsens bathroom/pipes but has most things in a hurry. Tesco is a better bet round the corner.
