I have noticed my review has been removed from this company, I initially was going to just add on to previous review but will now have to rewrite. This company STILL owes me wages for Decorating works undertaken on a local school in North Wales. Skylines reputation in my area of north Wales since there works, is poor at very best. Health and safety was none existent, wages wernt paid and on a personal note my finger was crushed due to skylines acting site agents lack of health and safety practices. I am a self employed Decorator and could Ill afford the time off due to the injury, not to mention the none payment of wages. I have a small family to provide for. I was lucky enough to continue and at present gain more work on the site, this is however with another contractor. Since my original review I have since been contacted by skyline. And after threats received by skyline due to my original review have kept digital copies. I was contacted Jan 2018, regarding this issue from summer 2017. I was promptly threatened with legal action over my review. I laughed this off as all statements I have made are 100% true and correct. I was harassed for a further 2 days by phone, accusing me of lying about missing wages, health and safety ect. I was at the time due my second child and the added stress due to these threats ect made me even more stressed than I already was. I tried to calmly explain the reasons for my review, and gave options on a resolution. All skyline were interested in was my review being removed. I ASSUME the reason for this is confidence in skylines work practices are being found out, and people would rather pay that bit extra to have the work completed properly, efficiently, and safely. This statement, before I receive any more threats is my assumption. Cheapest isn't always the best! I urge any contractor or customer approached by skyline to look elsewhere. If however you don't want to be payed, are happy with shabby work, and don't mind companies with a bad reputation, skyline could therefore be for you!
