Absolutely fantastic charity that is transforming the lives of children and families in Bootle! The team are very supportive, encouraging and hard working, always coming up with new and creative ways to inspire and reach children and young people. Ive had the privilege of working alongside Ykids and they are very proactive and helpful with partnership working. Highly recommend for any children or families needing support in Sefton and any organisations who may want to link up!

It's a great place, with great people! And they have a book club!! My children loves everything there, and the work they do is fabulous. I am really thankfull for knowing them.

I reviewed this charity a week ago and asked a genuine question regarding why they spent over 80% of their income on wages. The response I received from their moderators was terrible and they tried to get my review taken down. I do still think a local childrens charity spending 307,000 a year on salaries is shocking and needs to be looked into. When people donate money they expect it to get spent on the children. From the interactions I have had with this charity something seems iffy... there seems a reluctants to have transparency on financials. How much is actually getting spent on the children and not just funding the machine?
