Bistro Noir

Lovely place to visit. I love the decor, the atmosphere, the staff and of course, the food and drink. A little treasure of a place.

Not the Bistro Noir that Ive loved for so long. I have been visiting this restaurant for years and it was definitely up there as one of my favourites for special occasions. Booked a table for this evening and the waiters treated us as an inconvenience the second we walked through the door. We had to ask for a drink 3 times before it arrived. Beer was also room temperature. The humus starter was very dry with a small amount of bread. Main (Sri Lankan curry), tasted exactly like an Asda microwave meal. Ive had better curry sauce from the chippy. Very disappointed and unfortunately not on my list to revisit.
