Great bar with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The whisky selection is fantastic (they sell other drinks also) and the staff are excellent. I have been to hop/scotch a few times already and I will definitely be going back.

Best damn bar in Liverpool ! Not just the best whisky bar - which they are - theyre the best at everything. Brill nights out with their tastings, staff are fantastic, great atmosphere, easy to get to. If you havent been yet, do yourself a favour and get down there.

I first went to Hopscotch just after lock down and I was immediately blown away by the quality and range of their independent bottlings. I enjoyed my first trip so much, that I now return on a regular basis and have realised that it has a lot more to offer. Not only has it got (in my opinion) the best range of scotch in the North West of England, it also has rare, high quality bourbons, ryes, Irish and Japanese whiskies as well as many other quality spirits. Over the time I've been going I have seen the range and quality of the beer selection expand, in particular they have a very fine selection of Lambic beers and interesting local craft beers, which can be found on draught. Matt and Becks (the founders) along with Charly, run the bar in a friendly, relaxed and non-judgemental way. Whisky novices and whisky experts are treated equally and the bar has a family atmosphere where many of the regulars have become friends with those behind the bar and with each other. I would highly recommend the bar to anyone paying a visit to Liverpool, I have taken many friends and colleagues, who were visiting the city and they have all loved it
