Initially pleased with work but several years later, after a major disaster, we discovered work had not been completed in accordance with building regulations applicable at the time, although we had a signed document stating otherwise. Fortunately we discovered the problem just in time, before anyone was injured, although there was some damage to the property. This was an expensive issue to have fixed and we wrote to Kevin to explain what had happened and requested him to consider making a contribution to offset the expense. Unfortunately he chose to ignore our letter altogether. So beware, he contracts out work which in itself is not a problem, but he is not interested in problems afterwards even though the contract is with him and he is thus responsible. The reviews are generally very good because they are posted soon after work has been completed and before any snags arise, but don't be fooled by the high review ratings - the work may look good but it may well have latent dangerous and expensive issues subsequently. Take advice from one who has learnt the hard way and give Kevin Mills the swerve.
