Wickes

Customer service is absolutely poor and disrespectful . I had never met staff like this.

Today I have enjoyed first class service from the staff of Wickes Littlehampton. I just want to say thank you to Claire, Laura and Jack. My first contact was with Claire on a telephone enquiry, she was most helpful with an excellent telephone manner. I then went along to the store where Jack looked after me, with assistance from Laura. Both these young people gave me the sort of customer service I thought was a thing of the past! If only we could have more of their high calibre then going to the builders merchant would be something to look forward to!! Well done all of you and thank you. John Walls Qa3 ltd.

Arrived today 4th April at 1830 during opening hours at Wickes Little Hampton to buy a single bag of concrete which I needed to finish off a job. When I got there the whole area was cordoned off, no other customers. The employee did not allow me to pick one up due to fork lift operation. He did not offer to pick one up for me, nor stop the forklift for a moment and was totally intransigent and unhelpful. I will try and avoid Wickes from now on in order to avoid more wasted journeys. Always a disappointing visit. Poorly staffed. Long queues and Ive had two occasions where information I required was given to me by a male member of staff in a very off hand and dismissive way. I believe because Im female! This is definetly the worst Wickes store I have ever been to ( Littlehampton )

Always great service here, only thing I've not been able to buy for trades is brilliant white acrylic wood paint. Other than that they tend to have what's needed!
