        Great place to let the young ones play. Away from busy traffic and is almost half the way round if parted in the main parking area.

        Free parking at the behind the council paid car park in the woods. Shame the cafe isnt open yet. Nice wooden playground across the embankment.

        Nice little 'assault course' style play area set along the main path around Hollingworth Lake. A couple of picnic benches but you're probably best eating elsewhere as they're a bit rickety at the play area. Don't get me wrong, it's a good little play area, but it feels like it may have been left alone for a while as the grass was getting long and could do with a bit of sprucing up, signs cleaning etc, hence 4 stars.
