Little Whelnetham is a Grade 1 listed building dating back to the C13 though much of the building is later. The nave roof is supported by fine hammer-beam timbers with figure carvings though restored in 1842. The church is normally open to visitors.

A wonderful church to add to your visit to Suffolk. A key is available nearby. Charming with a great vista over the countryside, lovely decorative roof and only a few miles from Woolpit or Lavenham.
