Little Thetford Acorns Pre-School and Holiday Club

Friendly and nurturing pre-school that I highly recommend. My children particularly enjoy the pre-school's lovely garden and the Forest School opportunities.

I chose Little Thetford Acorns because of the positive reputation it has. The staff were friendly and professional at our taster session and made us feel very welcome. Our daughter struggled with being left for some time and the staff were understanding, supportive and reassuring throughout this time. They would even call to let me know she was ok. We have seen our daughter develop in leaps and she loves her time there. The staff are dedicated to making the first introduction to learning a happy positive experience. The outdoor area is fantastic and our daughter has loved going to Forest School. It has been a lovely time being part of the preschool for all the family and we will be sad to leave when our daughter starts school in September.

Highly recommend Little Thetford Acorns Preschool. Both of my children have attended, they have given them both an amazing start. The staff are caring, attentive, warm and passionate about the role they play in our little ones lives. The garden and outdoor space has no comparison to any other preschool, along with offering Forest School learning. The preparation put into the transition to Primary school was seamless for my children. They offer a sense of community for both parents and children. I was always kept informed of what my children had been doing along with how they were progressing.

When my daughter turned 2 years 5 months me and my partner started exploring several different Pre-Schools in our local area so we could flexibly work. It was a really hard decision enrolling to a Pre School; especially being first time parents. It was important finding the right school that my daughter can blossom in from a large choice in our local area. From the taster session in September 2017 with our daughter at LTA Pre School we were immediately impressed by the setting: A clean well presented building ,clear up to date notice boards and the amazing outdoor setting including a mud kitchen! We received a friendly positive welcome and introduction from the Manager Zoe and team who more than put us at ease. Explaining everything from there staff experience/qualifications, safety measures to the activities the children do day to day. My daughter jumped straight into the activities and forgot we were even there! From that moment we knew this was the right school. 6 months on, I have seen my child's development rocket in all areas. we have not looked back no even for a moment. She adores attending the setting and proudly talks about her days at school at home and to her family. She has made lots of friends in her 9 hour week at the school and we look forward to extending her hours when she turns 3 this month so she can attend the forestry school and continue her development with LTA. The communication from the school is amazing especially via:Tapestry, email and a live secure Facebook notice board; there is always something planned! Your Child is given a dedicated key worker who will always keep you informed of achievements or concerns. Without a doubt I highly reccomend LTA Pre School,keep up the good work****
