PC Paramedics did a great job in replacing my failed hard disk, reinstalling most of the software and programs, also recovered and installed my data.

I was told by Liz Mottram (PC Paramedics Workshop Manager) that replacing the puffed battery on my 15" MacBook Pro was going to be "extremely difficult and potentially very dangerous". With this sweeping statement she declined the job. However, one quick call to a local specialist had my laptop back to full health within 24 hours. The battery came in the day following my call and was replaced that day. Bench time for this was under 1 hour. The guy told me that he does battery replacements very routinely and without any problems. I think this speaks volumes in positivity for the Fleet based Apple specialist I used, and the opposite for PC Paramedics who perhaps might be better referred to as 'PC Quacks'. Recommend avoiding them for anything Apple as they appear incompetent. Update 19 August 2023: PC Paramedics "response" is nothing more than a repeat of our previous exchanges. Still no explanation of why they are apparently afraid of an Apple MacBook Pro battery. Remarkable considering how confidently this issue was immediately resolved by a local specialist who did not even ask to see the laptop beforehand. It now runs perfectly with no signs of overheating. I lesson learnt, I think.

I still have a computer that works on XP. The hard drive crashed and amazingly Katie and PC Paramedics were able to retrieve all the information and transfer to a new hard drive. I was so impressed that they were able to keep my old XP computer running. A week previously they had fitted a new graphics card to this computer. We highly recommend this Company they provide a fantastic service. I am so grateful that they have been able to keep this very old PC running. Originally supplied by PC Paramedics in 2006!

Fantastic service by Katie in PC Paramedics. I went in there with a very slow laptop that was neglected by myself for some time due to it being so slow! She managed to diagnose what the problem was, upgrade the Hard drive to a SSD and also gave it a full clean up and sorted a few extra bits as I am really not computer savvy!! She turned it on for me while I was in the shop and WOW what a difference it has made. I now actually want to use it Thank you very much Katie and PC Paramedics team, you have made me incredibly happy Highly recommend using these guys for your computer needs
