I have been using Colette for a few years now and cannot thank her enough for her invaluable service to our company. We had a transition period going from a sole trading company to Limited company and this was done smoothly and professionally. In fact, everything in every aspect of the company accounts is done perfectly. In an area like company accounts, VAT returns and PAYE you have to be confident that this part of the business is on time, correct and prompt, and Colette always maintains this high standard for us. Knowing this part of the business is being taken care of means we can get on with looking after our customers and spending time on them. We cannot rate her any higher.

Well I have to say, when I took on Farrand-Laine I was on the understanding they worked for me, which I have found I was very much mistaken, apparently I work for them, and if they say "jump" you are to return a "how high" or they will quit My accounts were not due for quite a few months, but under THEIR advice they suggested we do it sooner rather than later (and an invoice very quickly appeared!!), so while trying to juggle the business, family life, summer holidays etc and as with most small businesses the accounts in the last few months were the least of my concern, we have contracts and deadlines which far outweighed any importance of accounts which weren't due for months, but this is NOT acceptable for the very needy Farrand-Laine, they needed me to say "how high" to their every "jump" emails, and as I wasn't showing them enough attention and claiming they were far too busy for me, they quit! I have always considered a good accountant works with you, supports and most importantly understands your business, accountants shouldn't become a burden or demanding, something I feel Farrand-Laine fails to recognise.
