We arrived at this little place with two young kids - after a long walk - to find it temporarily closed on a Sunday afternoon. Alan was kind enough to come out anyways, serve us coffees and completely spoil our kids out of the kindness of his heart. Walk this way...

Wow, what a find. We've been walking in this area of ladyshore and bury and Bolton canal for years and always thought there should be some refreshments in this area, well now there is. This brilliant little coffee shop on Boscow Road, near the meccano Bridge canal path has only been open a short time but its great. Owned by Liz and Alan, working from their own home they serve snacks, cold drinks, hot drinks and ice cream. Seating outdoors, water and snacks for dogs, very friendly welcome, it's a welcome much needed addition to the area. Well done Liz and Alan.

Fantastic little gem of a cafe, with very friendly and helpful owners. Nothing is too much trouble for them, nice little pit stop during a walk. Love the hot chocolate, will definitely be back, also child and dog friendly. Thank you Alan and Liz for making us feel welcomed and for making our walk much brighter see you again soon.
