Little Houghton C Of E Primary School

My 2 children have always been happy to go to school, thanks to the excellent start they had at Little Houghton. Highly recommended, and sad that my son (current year 6) only has a month left!

My grandson was bullied at this school. School and governors ignored it. He still talks about how he remembers being bullied at age 5 at this school! Upsets me to date.

I have the last of 3 in Little Houghton and would say they have all felt happy and safe throughout their school time, never a hesitation about going, gaining some fantastic experiences and opportunities and sharing work creatively whether on displays or through productions, its been a pleasure to see mine grow there...enjoy it while you can before they disappear into senior school!!

My son is in year 5 currently and I can hardly believe where the time has gone. We chose Little Houghton as it was a small village school, my son hardly ever misses school and I can hand on heart say hes always been happy at this lovely school. Small schools generally struggle with facilities but Little Houghton has a huge playing field a multi use games area and is creating an outdoor classroom as we speak. TAs are used appropriately and the whole school approach to delivering maths, Literacy and Spelling and grammar over morning sessions allows for challenge and consolidation. Staff are approachable as is the headteacher who greets the children daily at the school gate. Thankfully it wont be goodbye next year as my 3 yr old will start in Sept 2019.
