Phil delivered a series of bespoke photography and filming training sessions for the team at Blenheim Palace. I cant recommend him enough, from providing extensive pre and post training support, to his endless patience during the training sessions, Phil is an incredible teacher, and extremely talented creator. Weve continued to work with him and I hope will work with him for years to come.

Really useful training for iphone photography - I had no idea my iphone camera could do all that! Very excited about using these tools now I know what they are! Phil has a very friendly teaching style, and I left the session feeling confident I could put all the tips to very good use. Highly recommend.

Phil was so warm and welcoming I was put at complete ease when doing the 1:1 photography course. He showed me how to shoot both interior and exterior and he also showed me different lighting, angles, landscapes and more. I was a complete beginner and Phil was very patient and understood exactly what I was trying to get out of our session. I would highly recommend Phil to anyone looking for 1:1 photography lessons.

I'd wanted to learn photography and for years I just hadn't got round to it. Eventually I went on a public course - the pace was too fast, and I was quickly overwhelmed. So I stopped. Then, I was persuaded to have some sessions with Phil from Melen and that changed everything. His teaching style wasn't about "photography", it was about me: What did I like to photograph and why? Did I prefer colour or black and white? What interested me about photography? My confidence grew from there. Phil was patient, kind and he explained things! He taught by sharing. By de-mystifying. By making photography something that I could do and that I could enjoy. Phil explained and Phil helped re-kindle my curiosity in photography and appreciate that I could learn it after all. I've booked my next courses and I can't wait! I still have lots to learn, but I'm confident that I will and I'm confident that I'll enjoy the journey now.
