I had gammon egg & chips, Food was lovely, tender meat, but missing the peas, and just Rocket isn't classed as salad, so was a little disappointing. A few veg to that dish would be nice. Chocolate slice was lovely Pub was empty, and a little cold Very clean, great staff, didn't have to wait as not busy. Not sure if I will return, maybe in summer.

Visited yesterday with our walking group group for lunch.....absolutely delicious beef bourginon where chunks of beef literally melted in the mouth.....all other dishes looked delicious and judging by every clean plate that went back it was!! Pudding was gorgeous too....with a long soft drink, 12, excellent! Well done guys - will be back

Fresh and tasty food daily cooked. The best ever Sunday roast . Fireplace wirh wood make a cosy atmosphere and you feel like home. Very friendly owners make you feel welcome and always to comeback here. Thank you for lunch
