I have won 3 amber necklaces(lot 188,lot311,lot363) total sold price was 870. We went to pay and collect them this morning,found that two of them were not real amber and asked the gentleman who was in reception,he asked me back :havent had viewing without any patience. Due to the COVID-19 and they were not very expensive things and we live at 1hour and half away ,there were reasons no went to have a viewing. Just a little bit couldnt understand ,your all descriptions are ambers,is that means without any viewing then you can sell fake things or can cheat people? I have explained to myself probably their knowledge of identifying amber was not enough to do that but I have seen this auction house since 1895. Regards

I should start off by saying I don't take leaving reviews lightly, I appreciate how many companies work very hard to sustain credibility and deserve high ratings. However when situations are not handled professionally, rudely or not keeping with a service industry type company, other users have the right to be made aware. In this instance, I am sad to say, I had a horrendous experience being shown a rude and extremely arrogant attitude on more than one occasion. No efforts to genuinely want to help. When I aired my grievances, their response, to ban me from bidding again as they did not like the home truths I directed towards them. I will not go into detail (unless they post some BS response) but will say there are so many better and far more professional auction houses to choose from. The most unhelpful response I have ever had, if I could give minus stars I would. Do yourselves a favour, look elsewhere!!!
