(Translated by Google) Beautiful, lovingly furnished house, quiet location. So perfect for a relaxing holiday. Very nice and helpful landlord. (Original) Wunderschnes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, ruhig gelegen. Also perfekt fr einen erholsamen Urlaub. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter.

Stayed for a week in March. Excellent place to stay, the accommodation was just what we needed for a break. The accommodation was clean with everything we needed. The best bit was the sole use of the pool and hot tub on a rota basis, morning or afternoon. Location is perfect with easy access to Looe, Bodmin and surrounding area. Planning a return trip to explore the area some more.

Amazing pool, well maintained and clean, access by rota. Limited time in hot tub as on first day the guests in the cottage put bubble bath in it, which was a shame. Ali who was our host was polite and friendly but not intrusive. Beautiful countryside and easy access to places such as St Michaels Mount and the pretty fishing village of Polperro. Looe Valley Barn, in our opinion is in need of a refurbishment and some TLC being extremely dated. Based on pictures Looe Valley Cottage looks like it may have already been completed. We were disappointed with the accommodation. Noisy plumbing in most rooms, including behind headboard of master bed, heating managed by owners who's home is attached to the holiday let. (My daughter stayed at Apple Yard Barn, Looe, although contemporary and beautiful, heating was also managed by owner, it may just be something that they do in Cornwall as we have never experienced this before and feel its a bit cheeky, some guests may not feel comfortable, or want the inconvenience of contacting owner to turn heating up and down?), this should be mentioned to potential guests. Pipes banging, limited hot water, ancient shower with black mouldy corners, wobbly bathroom tap handles, bedroom door that has not been height adjusted, so stiff I pushed it open and stepped forward , it didn't move and I still have a painful bruised arm! I appreciate a refurb may be immanent but health hazards such as the door should be dealt with. Driveway is extremely steep and winding, we did not have issue with this but feel it should be mentioned to potential guests. This holiday let was not for us, that said it has a visitor book with positive holiday guest reviews. Not many stays over covid period, which would be expected. I have placed this review for an objective opinion, this holiday let may not be to everyone's taste or standards, I recommend doing your research and asking lots of questions.
