The government has committed to spending up to 220,000 for legal advice defending the former PM during the Covid Party probe if necessary. Basically screw the public.

I have written to Sheryll Murray twice and had a sit down meeting with her once. I am left convinced that she had very little mind of her own and will vote in whichever way best reflects her own personal interests and wishes of the party, as opposed to the interests of her constituents. On the few occassions that she has expressed an opinion of her own, it only seems to be in support of Cornish fishermen - a very small section of the local population that, ironically, she has wound up causing more long term harm than good to. I have never voted Labour before in my life, but will be doing so this time, as it is the only realistic possibility of removing her. Update: She has just submitted a letter of no confidence in Truss. She may be showing the early signs of developing some kind of spine. I shall be watching this with interest
