I was on holiday and had a problem with my phone. I popped in and received great advice on what the problem might be and how best to resolve it. I could not leave the phone with them as I was about to return home, but was extremely impressed with the service I received. Thank you

Got a quote for new screen and camera lens, paid up front, waited a long while but eventually got a call to say can collect. Told would phone when camera lens arrived. Sadly I didn't check phone over at time. Got home to find phone in safe mode and can't clear as volume key dented. No worries, I would wait for call regarding camera lens which didn't happen. After 3-4 weeks I returned to the shop, all closed with note from Council on door. Gave up on Protech and found Smart Guy near by, looked in for a quote to repair the damaged phone and get a camera lens. Turns out it is the same guy. Protech and Smart Guy are one and the same. He just wanted to deny any fault, blaming me for dropping phone. I kept saying I wasn't going to argue with him, I just wanted my phone fixed even if it meant paying again, after all, I should have checked the phone when I collected it. His loss, I will pay elsewhere to repair it. Maybe if he stopped blaming me and listened he would have had more business. I asked for my phone back a few times before he did hand it through the kitchen window to me, I really didn't like the way he was trying to free the volume switch by poking a knife at it.
