Excellent service was seen the same day as call back then again following day for blood tests then phone call next day with result. The doctors were caring, thorough and listened to my concerns. Also receptionist was caring and very understanding when I made the initial phone call. Lots of praise and respect for all the staff at this surgery

On Tuesday, the 31st of January I Collect and paid for my prescription, on Wednesday night went to take my Medication, Citalopram for mental health issues and found I was prescribed/given the wrong medication. Thursday morning after nearly 1 hour, waiting to speak to the dispensary and told them they gave me the wrong medication, after a further 20 minute wait, when I went to collect the correct medication this time was told I have to pay for the prescription again!! I refused and the head dispenser/pharmacist and the practice manager, took me to a private room and basically said they wouldnt give me the medication unless I paid for it again! as I didnt check the contents before leaving the practice. So clearly, my fault not!! As you can imagine this did not go down well with me, I need my medication else I wouldnt be on it would I! It seems to be some confusion about my online order and some order that was a paper order which actually is incorrect. The order that was placed in January was a telephone order for the one item the citalopram, I personally believe that the receptionist put down for the both items I would like the telephone conversation to be checked and confirmed what was said what ordered whos fault is it? youre supposed be a professional run doctor surgery. I was told by the doctor when prescribed this medication under new circumstances to just stop taking it, seems like the head pharmacist and practice manager seem to be more worried about the money than patients mental health care. So basically I feel like I was blackmailed to pay again. Absolutely disgusting!! It was also stated by the lead pharmacist /dispenser, that its clear on all NHS websites inc oak trees surgery website, Ive never been on any nhs website, so Really, Good spouting off about policies etc etc how many people do you know read all the small print etc etc.? I will take this opportunity also my December prescription was wrong as well. Two lots of my tablets were in the bag. Luckily I had checked and told the receptionist that is incorrect My uncle was also at the surgery today, pharmacy/dispensary, have put all his medicine tablets in the mornings section rather splitting morning and evening, so today took all his tablets in one go for a heart condition and diabetes. When My step father collected his medication the beginning of January, there was two lots of his medication in the bag, he told the pharmacy reception, this was incorrect, was told mustve been because he didnt pick up is December tablets which he had collected. Maybe the head dispenser/pharmacist have spent more of his time sorting out his department, rather than strutting around like a peacock, more training, more staff mean how hard is it to put the correct tablets in the correct section. Bit of a joke really Patient care seems to completely gone out the window. Its all about the money!! Wonder what past senior partners would think of it now I am sure heads would be rolling. This is now having a major detrimental effect on my mental health. Thank you very much.

Appalled at how my partner was spoken today by a receptionist. Based on other comments, which span across years, clearly some things need addressing.
